He was predeceased by: his parents, Amine Fares Alawar and Chafika Hatoum Alawar; and his siblings, Iqbal and Fouad. He is survived by: his wife Rola Aref Alawar of Ann Arbor, MI; his daughter Jouhana (Walid Aldeeb) of Ann Arbor, MI; and his friend Issam. He is also survived by his wife, daughter, son-in-law, two grandchildren, two sisters, brother, nephews, nieces.
