She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bostic and Pearl Bostic (Thornsbury); her husbands, Buck Collins and Fred Yates; her children, Jimmy Collins and Ruth Carol Collins; and her siblings, Irene Bostic, Phillip Bostic, Thurmel Bostic and Lawrence Bostic.
She is survived by: her children, James Collins (Sharon), Donald R. Collins (Christine), Manuel Collins (Carol), Sharon Martin (Johnny), Diana Anderson (Stoney) and Fredrick Yates (Teresa); her daughter-in-law Gwen Collins; and her siblings, Hassel Bostic, Harold Bostic, Billy Bostic, James Bostic, Bennett Bostic, Henry Bostic, Jr., Wade E. Bostic, Mae Hunt, Madeline Blackburn and Sue Coleman. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirty - three great grandchildren and nine great - great grandchildren.
