She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin; and her son Mitchell Saari. She is survived by: her children, Debra Palumbo, Tim Saari (Lori) and Vicki Schlampp (Frank); her grandchildren, Paul Palumbo, Frank Palumbo (Mikki), Thomas Saari, Megan Bennett (Nick), Eric Saari, Samantha Dunleavy (Ryan), Dillon Schlampp and Hunter Schlampp; her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Anthony, Frank, Delilah, Dominic, Jameson, Sophia, Ian, Kaden and Weston; and her brother George Lehman (Judy).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home (46401 Ann Arbor Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170). A prayer was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church (44800 Warren Rd, Canton, MI 48187). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. John Neumann Church (44800 Warren Rd, Canton, MI 48187).
