It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Clyde Cavender (Pleasant Ridge, Michigan), who passed away at the age of 89, on February 14, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecilia Cavender (Tyszkowski) and Jack Clyde Cavender; his wife Loretta (Margaret Cavender); his son John; and his brother Jerry.
He is survived by: his brother Regis (Deborah); his children, Carrie (Kirk), Bernard (Tracey) and Judith (Edward); his grandchildren, Keith, Bryan (Monique), Tiffany, Matthew (Abigail), Corinne, Rachel and Zachary; his great grandchildren, Oriana, Devin, Jalen and Niko; and his great great grandchildren, Raymond, Nyla and Amelia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
As a Celebration of Life service was not held for Laurie in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will gather for a joint service honoring both her and Clyde in a warmer month ahead.
