He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Broadhurst and Frieda Broadhurst (Mundt); his son-in-law Greg LaForge; his siblings, Art Broadhurst (Elaine), Herb Broadhurst (Myrt), George Broadhurst (Donna), Walter "Skip" Broadhurst, Marilynn Bouters (Wayne) and Arlene Broadhurst; his brother-in-law Rex Treece; his niece Marsha Bouters; and his nephew Barry Broadhurst.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Branch and Sheri LaForge; his grandchildren, Eric LaForge (Brenna), Kevin LaForge (Jayden), Allison Branch (Derek Laker) and Sarah Branch; his great grandchild Nora LaForge; his sister Rose "Tootie" Treece; and his in-laws, Frank Burroughs (Judy) and Sharon Thompson (Larry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Avink, McCowen & Secord Funeral Home and Cremation Society (120 S Woodhams St, Plainwell, MI 49080). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
