Judy K. Nieuwenhuis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy K. Nieuwenhuis of Plainwell, Michigan, born in Sturgis, Michigan, who passed away on August 15, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Meert and Blanch Meert (Geyer); her parents-in-law, John and Henrietta Nieuwenhuis; and her siblings, William Meert, Betty Bloss (LaMar), Mary Schaeffer, Jack Meert (Mick), Larry Mulder and Don Griffin.

She is survived by: her husband Jon Nieuwenhuis; her children, Jeff Nieuwenhuis (Amy), Joel Nieuwenhuis (Kerri) and Jill Eastman (Ken); her grandchildren, Gibson Nieuwenhuis (Amber), Brinley Nieuwenhuis, Noah Eastman (Cara Smith), Trevor Nieuwenhuis, Evan Nieuwenhuis, Parker Eastman, Cooper Eastman, Colin Nieuwenhuis and Landon Eastman; and her siblings, Gene Meert (Kathy), Shirley Griffin, Nancy Mulder, Duke Meert (Kathy) and Sally (Lynn). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
