He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Moran and Hazel Moran (New); and his siblings, Alonzo, Margaret, Carol, Elton, Oscar, Phyllis, Leo and William.
He is survived by: his wife Joan James; his children, Alonzo Moran (Kimberly) of Cooper Township, Thomas Moran of Otsego, Linda Todd (Terry) of Plainwell, John Moran Jr. of Plainwell and Cindy Woodford (Michael) of New York; and his brothers, Calvin Moran of Otsego and David Moran of Cooper. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
