He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Lykins; his children, Wayne Heady, Sandra Price and Karen Hall; and his siblings, J. D. Heady, Dewey Heady, Hewey Heady and Vonna Norris.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Heady (Linda) of Sparta, Sharon Jolly (Ralph) of Sparta, Mark Heady of Pittsford, Denise Heady-Khalil of Toledo and Jennifer Heady of Jonesville; and his siblings, Mary Finley (Lonnie) of Sparta and Henry Heady of Sparta, Tennessee.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Hillsdale County, Greater Hillsdale Humane Society, or the Pittsford Wesleyan Church.
