He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden Davis and Eunice Davis (Monroe); his wife Mary McKibbin; and his sisters, Betty Pfiefle, Yvonne Moore and Lillian Ames.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffery Davis, Terry Davis (Glynette), James Davis Jr. and Laci Miler (Chris); and his sister Carol Yearling. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren.
