He was predeceased by: his former wife Dorothy Garland; his parents, Emery Denver and Grace Towne (Jenkins); his siblings, Marion Towne and Doris Towne; his niece Annet Shannon (Towne); and his nephew Gregory Scott Garland.
He is survived by: his children, Darcia Daglow (Jeffrey Sr.), Denver Towne (Lisa) and Darla Ykimoff (James); his grandchildren, Lindsey Wickard (Hinesman), Andrew Towne, Karlye Horton (Towne), Joseph Daglow, Samuel Ykimoff and Anna Grace Ykimoff; his great-niece Angela Barthel (Towne); his great grandchildren, Evan, Addison, Ariana, Sydney, Breanna and Eli; his nieces, Paulet Towne, Jeanet Towne, Lynnet Brooks, Gloria Garland and Terri Ferguson; his nephew Steven Garland; his wife Vida Sue Towne (Tomasen); his stepchildren, Jeff Baber (Jan), Greg Baber, Chris Baber and Retha Hicks (Jeff); his stepgrandchildren, Jeffrey Jr., Nathaniel, Jeana, Christopher, Jared, Jessica, Haley, Hannah and Braeton; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ethan, Titus, Lincoln, Roman, Emerald, Atlas, Ada, Aida, Leo, Elisha and Nora. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, in seeing his family.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Duane Towne to any of the following, the Dorothy J. Towne Memorial Scholarship through the Hillsdale Community Foundation, the Gospel Barn, Gideons International, Liberty Bible Church, or to a charity of your choice.
