It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clair DeWayne Powell of Pittsford, Michigan, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershell Powell and Lydia Powell; his wife Eva; his grandchildren, Alex Powell and Treg Garrow; his brother Lyle Powell; and his half-siblings, Perry, Eldro, Cecil, Calvin, Robert Manifold, Mary and Esther.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Powell (Marilyn) of Florida, Steve Powell (Julianna) of California, Michael Warner of Pittsford, Judy Wolfe (Terry) of Pittsford, June Mathis (Don) of Tennessee, Kathy Welch (Don) of California and Susie Reasoner of Prattville; and his grandchildren, Ty, Amy, Steven, Nikie, Tori, Renee, Nathan, Kelly, Tyler, Adrienne, Wes, Katelyn and Hunter. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
