Wayne F. Morris Obituary
Wayne Francis Morris, aged 59, loving dad, papa, son and brother passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in Midland, Michigan, on January 17, 2025. Born on September 4, 1965, in Bay City, Michigan, Wayne was a man whose warm presence and generous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Throughout his life, Wayne was a pillar of strength and kindness within his community. He worked construction at Brandle Roofing for several years then became a devoted member of the UAW Local 699 and dedicated numerous years of service to General Motors, where he formed lasting friendships and was respected for his hard work and camaraderie.
Wayne's passion for life was evident in everything he did. He was an avid pool player, known for his skill and sportsmanship, participating in numerous leagues both locally and out of state. His love for the outdoors was just as strong, with fishing and hunting among his favorite pastimes. Yet, above all, Wayne's greatest joy was spending time with his cherished children and grandchildren, he leaves a legacy of knowledge that he has passed down to his children and grandchildren. He was a loving father to Kellie (Anthony) Stewart, Victoria (Sammy Quinones) Morris, Adam (Sheila) Morris, and Christopher (Crystal) Willett. His role as a grandfather brought him immeasurable happiness, and he adored each of his grandchildren: Charlie, Cora, R.J., Anastasia, Braydon, Abigail, Arianna, Carson, Liam, Aaliyah, and Conner. His children and grandchildren will be forever grateful for his bear hugs he gave to each one anticipating his big bear hugs back.
Wayne's legacy is carried on by his beloved mother, Wilma Morris, and his siblings, Charlene (David) Morris and Marlene (Joe) Morris, who will miss him deeply. His life was also enriched by the steadfast companionship of his dear friend Patricia Faylor, with whom he shared many of life's challenges and triumphs. Wayne was predeceased by his father and best friend, Peter Morris, and his sister, Darlene Morris.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 24, 2025, at 6 pm from the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home with Pastor Gregory Hyatt presiding with inurnment in Midland Memorial Gardens with his father at a later date. Friends may visit at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home on Friday, from 2 pm until time of service.
