Leonard E. Goodman Obituary
Leonard E. Goodman, known affectionately as Lenny to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2024, at the age of 78. Born on May 12, 1946, in Bentley, Michigan, to the late Enos & Dorothy (Buffman) Goodman, Lenny was a man whose life was characterized by his loving nature, adventurous spirit, and an ever-present sense of humor that brought joy to all who knew him.
Lenny was a proud graduate of Pinconning High School. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to become the owner and operator of his own successful cleaning business. Lenny married Rosemarie in 1994, she preceded him in death October 17, 2024.
He had an unwavering love for the outdoors, often found camping under the stars or traveling to new and exciting destinations with his wife Rosemarie. His love for horses was well known, from horseback riding to teaching his horses how to do tricks. Lenny could often be heard strumming his guitar or playing the harmonica, much to the delight of his family and friends.
Lenny is survived by his daughter, Janette Bledsoe, four grandchildren: Nolan, Logan, Skylr, and Landi Goodman, stepchildren, Michelle Paten and Bruce (Traci) Collier, step-grandchildren; whom he loved as his own; Whitney (Paul) Jankowska, Lacey (Jason) Childs, Jesse (Angelina) Potts, Levi and Matthew Paten, Mackenzie and Erika Collier, brother, Dean (Becky) Goodman, sister; Debra Katzer, sister-in-law; Lynn, along with many nieces and nephews, will fondly remember their times with him.
He was preceded in death by his son's; Randy, Paul, brothers; Ron, Wayne, brother-in-law; Randy Katzer, and sister-in-law; Arda Goodman.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 1:00 pm, at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Pinconning, with Pastor Roger Bauer presiding. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of service. Lenny will be laid to rest at Gibson Township Cemetery.
