He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Friesorger and Bernice Friesorger (Hasty); and his siblings, David, Douglas and Jackie Mimbs.

He is survived by: his wife Janet McComb; his daughters, Bernice Nuss (Harley) of Salina, KS and Ruth Sisson (Brad) of Clarksville, TN; his grandchildren, David Friesorger (Sarah), Shea Holbrook, Sierra, Cheyenne and Vance Sisson; his great grandchildren, Brodie Walters and Riley Friesorger; and his sisters, Shirley Williams (Albert) of Wildwood, FL and Edith Hurst (Michael) of Wildwood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
