David Derk Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate David Derk of Pinconning, Michigan, whose life came to an end on February 3, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benny Derk and Constance Derk; his siblings, Carol Burkland and Benny Derk, Jr.; and his granddaughter Cassandra Stapleton.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Derk; his children, JoLynn Derk and John-David Derk; his stepchildren, Rhonda Mitchell (Larry) and Robert Tufford (Melissa); and his granddaughter Kassandra Liggins. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Allen Funeral Home (9136 Davison Rd, Davison, MI 48423). The military honors was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
