Brandon J. Hines, age 30, passed away on December 15, 2024, in Pinconning, Michigan. Born on December 28, 1993, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Daniel & Karen (Matijega) Hines.
A proud graduate of Pinconning High School's Class of 2011, He was a person of many passions, with music coursing through his veins. His love for playing the guitar was only matched by his enthusiasm for the Detroit Lions, a team he supported through thick and thin.
Brandon's infectious laughter and amiable personality made him a friend to many, but to a special few, he was the world. He is survived by his loving fiancée, Aundrea Tacey, and her children, Autumn Tacey and Damian Lojek, who were like his own. His presence as a soon-to-be stepfather was a source of strength and happiness in their lives. His best friend, Russell Walling, with whom he shared countless memories, will deeply miss Brandon's companionship and unwavering loyalty.
He leaves behind a family who adored him: Pam Hall, who took over the role of mom, his cousin, Kristi, who was more like a sibling in spirit; his buddy Drew, God daughter Sara and sister Lauren Hines. Each of them will carry Brandon's memory in a special place in their hearts.
Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alden & Patricia Hines, Steve & Sophie Matijega, who have now welcomed him with open arms. His departure leaves a void in the fabric of the family, but they find comfort in knowing that he is in the company of loved ones.
Those who knew Brandon will remember him for his loving nature, his quick wit, and his friendly demeanor. He had the rare ability to light up a room with his humor and to make everyone feel at ease. His legacy is one of laughter, warmth, and the gentle strumming of a guitar, resonating with the melodies of a life well-lived.
Following Brandons wishes cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
