He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Lavey and Ella Black Lavey; his brother Merlyn; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia Grant, Bert and Johnny Wylie.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Wylie; his children, Michael (Nancy), Matthew (Cindy), Terence and Anne Kinsey (Richard); and his grandchildren, Erin, Emily, Patrick, Zackery, Nicholas, Joseph, Jennifer, Mary Lavey, Chad, Trevor (Haylie) and E. Marie Kinsey. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
