She was predeceased by: her parents, W. H. Ralph Sheldon and Bess Sheldon (LaBelle); and her husband Gerald Carpenter. She is survived by: her children, Sara Carpenter (Joe Gutowski), Sue Hall (John), Jane Vivyan (Mark) and John Carpenter (Dawn); her grandchildren, Jennifer Kley (Josh), Steven Hall, Erika Vivyan, Terri Vivyan, Alex Carpenter and Andrew Carpenter; and her sister Shirley Knudsen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and grand nieces and nephews.
