He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Massey and Woodrow Massey; his wife Loraine Mills; and his brother-in-law Jerry Reams. He is survived by: his son James "Woody" Massey II; his daughter-in-law Keri Massey (Pitt); his granddaughters, Samantha Massey and Jessica Massey; his sister Barbara Reams (Massey); his nephews, Jerrold and Jeffery Reams; and also, Shelton of Karson, J. J., Noah and Reagan.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Peoples Church - Pinckney (500 W Main St, Pinckney, MI 48169).
