We are sad to announce that on March 15, 2023, at the age of 89, David Joseph Sokol of Pinckney, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sokol and Mary Sokol (Nawrot); his wife Midge "Mimi" Sokol; his former wife Elizabeth Dusman; his brother Donald Sokol; his daughter Jackie Derkatch; and his daughter-in-law Kim Sokol.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Sokol and Ann McMullen (Mike); his son-in-law Kevin Derkatch; his grandchildren, Lauren (Jon), Nicole (Jeremy), Jessica (Jeremy), Beth (Brandon), Andrew (Savannah) and Madison (Collin); and his great grandchildren, Kaydence, Liam, Ava, Everly, Avery, Aiden, Evander, Charlie and Hailey.
Memorial contributions may be given to family for future designation.
