With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert J. Thiel Sr. of Pigeon, Michigan, who passed away on November 30, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thiel and Helene Thiel (Burzyck); his sisters, Meta O'Connor (Bill) and Irene Voss (Bill); and his brothers-in-law, Bill Heidebriecht and Owen McIntyre.
He is survived by: his wife Selma Schubach; his father-in-law Stanley Schubach; his children, June Clabuesch (Paul) of Sand Point, Robert Jr. (Mary Lou) of Pigeon, Joyce Brown (Tim) of Bay Port, Ronald (Donna) of Pigeon, Mary Buda (Nick) of Pigeon and Patricia Reinhardt (Jason) of Pigeon; his pet Marco; and his siblings, Gerald of Hillman, Janet McIntyre of Las Cruces, NM, Judy Brunn (Don) of Auburn Hills and Linda Heidebriecht of Auburn Hills. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
