She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Baum and Martha Baum (Gauderer); and her siblings, Wallace Baum and Gladys Rathje. She is survived by: her husband James Clarence Sauer; her sons, Timothy (Anita) of Roseboro, NC and David (Susan) of Bad Axe; and her grandchildren, Amanda of Maine, Nicole Gray (Sean) of Plymouth and Bradley of Bad Axe.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
