Pleasant and Tracy Schmitt (Scott) of Jacksonville, NC; his grandchildren, Patricia Sample (Adam), Jason, Ryan, Kayla Armbruster, Stephanie Ellicott (Matthew), Jillian LaFave (Matthew), Matthew Roestel (Shayna), Heather DeMars (Justin), Kenneth Roestel, Allison Miller (Brennan), Emily Roestel, Justin, Carter, Dilan Roestel, Caleb, Carson and Mackenzie Schmitt; his sister Marge Stevenson (Mike); and his sisters-in-law, Peggy Roestel and Donna Ziel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
