He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Kalee Joy Bruce and Walter Fisher; his son-in-law Ted Bruce; and his siblings, Owen, Glen, Don, Ken Wissner, Vernita McPhail, Esther Cochrane, Maxine Winter, Arlene Ross, Aldine Voss and Milda Polley.

He is survived by: his spouse Dorothy Fisher (Kosinski); his stepchildren, Dave Fisher (Lonna) of Elkton, Donna Castle (Jeff) of Bad Axe and Kathie Bruce of Frankfort; his grandchildren, Wendy Bruetsch (Tom), Scott Fisher (Kelly), Adam Castle (Ashley), William Castle (Jill), Kim Gray (Andy), Kirk Bruce (Heather) and Todd Bruce; his sisters, Patricia Sonntag and Nina Alexander; and his siblings-in-law, Vern Winter, Patricia, Alice and Jean Wissner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
