He was predeceased by: his father Fred McBride; his stepfather Donald Leipprandt; and his brother-in-law Don Bruce. He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his sons, Ryan (Christina) of Ohio and Brett (Jessica) of Pigeon; his grandchildren, Evan, Eric, Kyleigh and Lucas; his siblings, Barb Herford (Bill) of Elkton, Anne McBride of Seattle, Heather Drabek (Pete) of Bad Axe and Scott (Billy) of Palm Desert; his siblings-in-law, Roger Hunt (Nancy) of Hale and Kathy Murawski (Chink) of Romeo; and his friend Don Wheeler (Donna) of Pigeon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to be made in honor of Dave's grandchildren to be used for their college education accounts.
