He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanford Powell and Rita Powell (King); and his siblings, Bill, Wayne, Roy and Karen.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Hallock; his children, Wendi Bixman (Chris) of Sebewaing, Tim Russell (Aerion) of Elkton, Jessica Roberts of Bad Axe and Glenda Cregeur (Charlie Blunt) of Pigeon; his grandchildren, Keegan, Gage, Justice, Dylon, Logan, Elii, McKayla, Ashton, McKatlynn, Mason, Lexicia and Avery; his siblings, Elaine Powell of Mt. Pleasant and Dennis Powell (Linda) of Cass City; his sister-in-law Betty Powell of Cass City; and his goddaughter Denise Hindenlang.
