It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgene Anne MacDonald of Pickford, Michigan, who passed away on April 2, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Cottle (Beamish) and Carl Cottle; her sister Barbara Callentine; her siblings-in-law, Merlin Galer, James MacDonald, Edwin MacDonald, Myrtle MacDonald and Gertrude MacDonald; her stepfather Carlyle Harrison; and her nephews, Brad Cottle and Bobby MacDonald.
She is survived by: her husband Marvin S. MacDonald; her children, Carol Anne Lamb (Jeff), Wayne Marvin MacDonald (Ruth) of Pickford and Steven Carl MacDonald (Cindi) of Kalamazoo; her grandchildren, Patrick Lamb (Kim), Laura Kvam (Jason), Katie Wood (Paul), Joel MacDonald (Jaime), Jana Copenhafer (Nate), Alisa Davis (Ben) and Craig MacDonald; her siblings, Lorraine Galer, Gerald Cottle (Sharon) and Charles Cottle (Marcia); her brother-in-law Bill Callentine; and her close friends, Clint and Barb Groover. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
