Gary Switzer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Switzer of Pickford, Michigan, who passed away on August 5, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Switzer and Alvina Switzer (Richter); his son Henry; and his brother Wayne Switzer. He is survived by: his wife Lois VanHouten; his sons, Gary Switzer, Jr. (Tamara) of Sugar Island, MI, Bruce Switzer (Nicole) of Sault Ste and Timothy Switzer (Kathleen) of Sugar Island, MI; his daughter-in-law Kristine Switzer of Dafter, MI.; his sister-in-law Grace Switzer of Allegan, MI; and his sister Karla of Florida. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
