She was predeceased by: her father Roger Lynn Melson. She is survived by: her mother Pamala Sue Powell (Good); her children, Shyanne "River" Mae Crivea of Waterford, Michigan, Curtis Crivea, Ethan Crivea, Tristian Crivea of Pickford and Ian Crivea Jr. of Pontiac, Michigan; her stepfather Richard Lin Powell of Bay Port, Michigan; her brother Chad Powell (Kayla) of Kincheloe, Michigan; her stepsisters, Racheal Cuningham of Florida and Andrea Bruske of Clarkston, Michigan; her half-brothers, Glen Melson of Tennessee and Roger Melson of Tennessee; her close friends, Dana Covert, Angela Neef and Natalie Parker-Kuerbitz; and also Ian A. Crivea. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
