It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Sue Chartrand of Pewamo, Michigan, who passed away on September 23, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anabelle Werner and Ruth Werner; and her granddaughter Alyssa Cassel. She is survived by: her husband Gary Chartrand; her children, Bradley Chartrand (Mary), Wendy Kirby (Marty) and Denise Cassel (Brian Edwards); her grandchildren, Rebecca, Adam (Jenna), Alex Chartrand, Brianna Johnson (Mason), Mya Kirby, Brendan and Kennedy Cassel; and her siblings, Gerald Werner (Nancy), Bill Werner (Charlene), Don Werner (Mary Kay), Bob Werner (Linda), Jean Lincoln (Bob), Alice Foreback (Dick), Jane Emelander, Rose Smejkal (Glenn) and Mary Swick (Kenn). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
