He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nellie Waters and DeHaven; his children, Leigh Ann Anderson (Michael) of Grand Rapids and Michael Waters (Flora) of Petoskey; his grandchildren, Nicholas Certa, Tara Certa (Steve Weiss), David Waters (Hilary) and Arielle Brubaker (Dallin); his great grandchildren, Vedette Flier-Certa, Terje, Tor Brubaker, William "Liam" and Madeline Waters; his wife Barbara Ann Place; and his siblings, Marion Ludlow, Jim Waters and Katie Zwingeberg.
