He was predeceased by: his parents, Diec Nguyen and Mien Pham. He is survived by: his wife Luat Pham; his children, Tuong Tu Nguyen (Thuy) and Lai Nguyen; his grandchildren, Diep, Dat, Hau, Kendall, Eli, Lam, Lenth, Thanh and Tam; and his great grandchild Ethan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Dementia or Alzheimer's research organization in the name of Tan Nguyen.
