It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Allen Herald of Petoskey, Michigan, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Herald and Alice Herald; his former wife Georgiana Enders of Valentine's Day; and his siblings, Russel, David Herald and LaDonna Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Herald of Petoskey; his daughters, Kathleen James (Terry), Margaret Mahlmeister (Roger) and Lynn Herald; his grandchildren, Michael Dovey (Angela), Megan Spencer (Matt), McKenzie Mahlmeister, Rebecca Mahlmeister and Madeline Mahlmeister; his great grandchildren, Violet, Levi, Gavin Dovey, Carson, Thomas and Edward Spencer; and his niece Nancy Herald.
