He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Emerson and Ruth Emerson (Robb); his wife Betty Lou Emerson; and his brother-in-law Jim Wickersham. He is survived by: his children, Lori Pall (Ted) of Petoskey, Steven Emerson (Emily Stauffer) of Puyallup, WA, Kathy Henderson (Kyle) and Derri Parsons (Benton) of Wauconda, IL; his grandchildren, Thaddeus (Adam Pall), Patrick (Jake Emerson), Kelsey Henderson, Benton Shae and Nate (Gabriella Parsons); his great grandchild Callie Parsons; and his siblings, Lester "Gene" Emerson (Nancy) of Holland, MI, James Emerson (Norma) of Tavares, FL and Barbara Gero of Negaunee, MI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
