With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Basford of Petoskey, Michigan, who passed away on September 8, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Janet; his children, John (Michelle), Julie Kaiser (Steve), Carole Maibach (Doug), Denise, Sarah, Jenny Schembri (Joel) and Michael; his parents, Frank Basford and Rowena Basford; and his siblings, Joe and Kathleen. He was also cherished by 21 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
