She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Slocum and Edna E. Slocum (Troup); her brother George (Lionel); her husband Jacob H. Deschermeier; her son Jeffrey Deschermeier; and her children-in-law, Charles "Oz" Becraft and Linda Deschermeier.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Deschermeier, Mark Deschermeier (Brenda), Colette Reynolds (Lowell), Kevin Deschermeier, Patricia Deschermeier, Laura Becraft (David Wagar), Camille Spaniak (Lance), Benjamin Deschermeier, Eric Deschermeier (Cheryl), Gregory Deschermeier (Tammie), Nicholas Deschermeier (Alicia), Jane Crain (Scott) and Sarah Ross (Randal); and her caregiver Kenda Deschermeier. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
