She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin O'Shaughnessy and Maryon O'Shaughnessy (Sampson); her husband Ed; and her brother Thomas O'Shaughnessy of Versailles, Kentucky.. She is survived by: her former husband Edward Pater; her children, Laura Strobel (Michael) of Petoskey, Daniel Pater (Dawn) of Traverse City, Elizabeth Robbins (Patrick) of Petoskey and Matthew Pater (Karrie) of Harbor Springs; and her brother-in-law John Pater of Petoskey. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Little Traverse Bay Humane Society or Hospice of Michigan.
