He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Peterson and Christina Peterson (Wanek); and his siblings, Helen, Lila and James.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Glenn, William, Christina, James Jr. (Penny), Leo J. (Jessica), Vincent, Virginia (Brian), Elizabeth, Julianna, Lela and Missy; and his nephew-in-law Bruce Dixon.
