With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Jacobson (Petoskey, Michigan), born in Alexandria, Minnesota, who passed away on March 30, 2018 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughters, Amy (Joe) and Cindy Jo Braeger. She is survived by: her husband Don; her daughter Tracy Mueller; her stepchildren, Susan Haley (Scott), Mary Egan (Ed), Patrick, Daniel, David and Bradley Jacobson; her grandsons, Joshua Mueller and Brandon Mueller; her siblings, Joetta Fontaine (Larry) and Glenn Thunberg (Carol); her siblings-in-law, Lavonne Froemming (Davis), Susie Grutsch (Dave), Carol Frantom and Steve Jacobson (Janet); and also Dianne Schoeneck (Jerry). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, Manna Food Project, or Friendship Center of Emmet County.
