He was predeceased by: his son Spencer Hofbauer; and his grandparents, Joseph, Mary Hofbauer, Christian and Mary Paulsen.
He is survived by: his parents, Lawrence "Larry" Hofbauer and Dianne Hofbauer (Paulsen); his children, Skyler Loren Hofbauer and Joseph Christian Hofbauer, Jr.; and his brothers, Paul Hofbauer and Mark Hofbauer.
