It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James C. Sterly of Petoskey, Michigan, who passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence Sterly and Violet Grace Sterly (Lentz); his wife Barbara Sterly; his children, Matt (Ginger), Mike (Dara), Ryan (Mandi) and Kristina; his grandchildren, Abby, Kristopher, Robert, Megan, Kerlystin, Alicia, Sarah, Kassie, Kaela, Clarence, Helen, Willow, Henry and Josephine; his siblings, Joe (Penny), Julie Holzsch (Frank), Jerry (Deb), Janice Jarvis (Jeff) and Juanita O'Brian (Pat); his siblings-in-law, Bob Schiershmidt (Ellen) and Catherine; his son Mark; his brother Jeff; and his sister-in-law Marla.
