It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Joseph Beno of Petoskey, Michigan, born in Saint Johns, Michigan, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Beno and Anna Beno (Bohil); his wife Linda Beno (Schlueter); his children, Melissa and Jeff (Cyndi); his grandchildren, Ryker, Michael, Julia, Brendan and Brett; and his siblings, John, Gerald (Barbara) and Mary Wagner (Barry).

In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorials to Walloon Lake Association & Conservancy.
