He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Sr. Simon and Mary Simon (Speigl); his brother Bob Simon; and his nephew Simon Ernst. He is survived by: his siblings, Christine Knight (John), Leo Simon (late Jill), Dan Jr. Simon (Beth), Janet Simon (Jim Harrison), Kevin Simon (Jo) and Carole Melvin (Doug); and his friends, Dale Simon, Kenny Harrington, Randy Furgeson and Jessica Hartwick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
