She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Carpenter and Rose Carpenter (Miller); her former husband Richard "Dick" Neill; her husband James "Jim" Foster, Sr.; her siblings, Del Carpenter and Susie Snover; her stepson Joe Foster; her son-in-law Mike Appicelli; and her brothers-in-law, Stan Ruis and Wendell Capron.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Appicelli of Haslett, Mike Neill (Karen) of Bay City, Ken Foster (Maria) of Brighton and Karen Stanhope (Herb) of Charlevoix; her stepchildren, Jerry Foster (Terry) of Flat Rock, Jimmy Foster of Alanson and Janet Norris (Tom) of Petoskey; and her siblings, Roselynn Ruis, Sandy Capron and Steve Carpenter (Marilyn). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be directed to Hospice of Michigan-Charlevoix or the Harbor Springs VFW Post 2051.
