Evelyn Kilmer Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Archer and Thelma (McFarland); her husband David Kilmer; her son Roger Kilmer of Colorado Springs; and her siblings, Lewis, Clarence, Byron, Michael, Robert, Andy, Naomi, Audrey, Monna Sharon and Katherine.
She is survived by: her children, Judith Hamill of Petoskey, Leon Kilmer of Petoskey, Patty Sigafus (Stephen) of Petoskey, Bernie Kilmer, Alan Kilmer (Sandy) of Alanson, Michael Kilmer (Teresa) of Pellston and Janet Moats (Rob) of Port Charlotte, Florida; and her sisters, Virginia, Gari, Maryetta, Christine and Nola. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; many, many great-grandchildren, a few great-great-grandchildren.
In her lifetime, Evelyn survived a house fire, being hit by lightning (twice!), a heart attack, a stroke and COVID. During a window visit to her room during the pandemic last spring, Evelyn said this, "I think it's great to have a big family. I love them all. I can find something beautiful about every one of them.".
