With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Jean Birdsey of Petoskey, Michigan, born in Ferndale, Michigan, who passed away on August 17, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Spain and Catherine Spain; her siblings, Evelyn and Don; her stepchildren, Kathy and Timothy; and her former husband Richard Gardner.
She is survived by: her husband Gordon; her children, Michael Gardner (Susan), Lynne Johnson (James), Lisa Wilbur and Kristin Birdsey; her grandchildren, A. J., Jeffrey, Drew, John, Heather and Matthew; and also Cindy McKinney.
