He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glen Rivard and Evelyn Rivard; his children, Denise Brown of New Orleans, LA and Steve Rivard (Monica) of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Marissa Howell (Thomas), Aimee Brown, Dylan Brown, Alec Rivard (Madison) and Allison Rivard; his great grandchildren, Brayden and Colette; his niece Kathy Daugherty; his wife Katherine "Nan" Rivard; and his siblings, Roger Rivard and Janice Rivard-Cook.
The family suggests charitable donations be made in memory of Dennis's true love, Katherine Rivard, to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
