Shorter (Cooper); his wife Lynda Rae Bischoff; his children, Deanna Shorter Llewellyn, Dirk Shorter, Brian Shorter and Bethany Shorter; his grandchildren, Jason Llewellyn (Kim), Rachel Llewellyn, Travis Llewellyn and Lindsay Shorter (Cameron Ortiz); his great grandchildren, Emmett Grayson Llewellyn and Parker Dean Llewellyn; and his brothers, James Shorter (Barbara) and William Shorter (Marietta). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
