We are sad to announce that on August 15, 2023, at the age of 78, Daniel Robert Manthei of Petoskey, Michigan, born in Lynwood, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Kara; his parents, Ted and Mary; his brothers, David (Ruth), John (Cheryl) and Tom; and his nephew Stephen Manthei.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Kupke; his children, Micah Manthei (Anna), Alexa Syverson (Jesse) and Christiana Manthei; his grandchildren, Sage and Walter Manthei; his brothers, Tim Manthei (Pam) and Phil Manthei (Carol); and his sister-in-law Teri Manthei. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Answers in Genesis or Walloon Lake Community Church.
