He is survived by: his sister Judy VanAvery of Levering; his wife Lucinda "Cindy" Piehl; his son Mike (Nancy); his grandsons, Keegan, Ian Piehl, Evan and Drew Piehl; his daughters, Vicki Hall (Bill), Susan Piehl and Carol Knudsen; his grandchildren, Katie Smith, Kayla Bytwerk, Jared Knudsen, Griffin Hall and Andrew Hall; and his siblings-in-law, Chris Lutz (Jim) and Bill Lovelace. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
